I warned you that my posts this week would include posts about weather and here it is.
If this sticks...it seriously can not get any better! I love a cool start. Although it sucks to stand around in waiting for the start of the race, you're always warm by 1 mile in and then from that point you are comfortable.
In other news, I've been listening to a fire alarm going off for days in the house next to me. Don't worry. It's a some what abandoned house and no one is in trouble. The people that used to live there, moved into the house right next to it and they never sold or did anything with the old house so it just sits there. We can hear the fire alarm loud and clear. All day. And all night. Mike's been watching for the guy to be outside to say something but if we can hear it, he can hear it so it's sort of just weird. We aren't exactly friendly with them (I've called the cops on them twice) so I'm not about to go knocking on their door to inform them of the obvious. I even ran into him at Walgreen's tonight and we both did the awkward eye contact but quick look away and act like it never happened thing. We're cool.
I had my second appointment for my sports massage today and she was so excited at how much better my IT band and Quads felt. She said that they were really knotty and cable-y before and now they feel almost completely back to normal. I have no idea of it will help in the marathon but I am hoping for magic! :Jazz hands:
T - 5 days until marathon!
